About the book

Aimed at a new generation of indoor gardening enthusiasts, this book is a perfect guide for anyone keen to see their plant offspring thrive. This beautiful little book is ideal for the novice 'plant parent', providing tips on how to choose plants, where to place them, and above all how to care for them and keep them thriving. Indoor-plant experts and Instagrammers Erin Harding and Morgan Doane bring the subject to life alongside their beautiful photographs of happy plants in the home.

About the authors

Morgan Doane from Tampa, Florida, loves String of Pearls, Pilea peperomioides and Monstera deliciosa and her favorite way to display them is in pots she collects while traveling.

Erin Harding from Portland, Oregon, purchased her first houseplant, the Pregnant Onion plant (Ornithogalum longibracteatum), over 20 years ago and now shares her home with over 80 houseplants. Together they began Instagram's @houseplantclub in 2015. The group has been growing by 10k followers a month and now has over 200k followers.

About Calatheas

Calathea ornata is distinctively recognizable because of it's dark green leaves and thin pink stripes. Calathea varieties include some of the most stunning tropical foliage plants in the world and are often confused with their close relative Maranta or the “prayer plant”. These plants grow on the bed of the tropical forest and have large leaves to catch the dripping water from trees.
