Commonly known as: peperomia hope
Hope is a hybrid Peperomia that trails with small clumps of leaves every couple of inches along the stem. If you look close enough, you will see faint stripes similar to the watermelon peperomia, but it's subtle enough you might miss it!
Peperomias, as the name suggest are from the Pepper family. These plants have semi-succulent properties, which means that they are able to store moisture in their fleshy stems or leaves to fall back on when needed. These are ‘easy to care’ for plants with an extensive variety. They can also easily be propagated just from a leaf cutting.
They prefer bright light but not direct sun. They can also do well under florescent lights.
Over-watering is the main cause of serious problems with Peperomia. Avoid the leaves when watering these plants.
These plants can handle less care
Safe for cats and dogs
