Common name: Brasil
Often confused with Pothos, this variety is fairly tolerant and easy to care for. Philodendron name comes from Greek, and is a combination of “love” (philo) and “tree” (dendron). Brasil is a patented cultivar with leaves that resemble Brasil's flag, hence the name. They are also a great indoor choice because they remove air-born toxins such as formaldehyde from the air. Avoid direct sunlight and keep the soil moist, but not soggy!
