Philodendron // Hederaceum

Common name: Brasil

Brasil is a patented cultivar with leaves that resemble Brasil's flag, hence the name.

Often confused with Pothos, this variety is fairly tolerant and easy to care for. Philodendron name comes from Greek, and is a combination of “love” (philo) and “tree” (dendron).  They are also a great indoor choice because they remove air-born toxins such as formaldehyde from the air. Avoid direct sunlight and keep the soil moist, but not soggy!

Moderate to bright, diffused light. Keep them away from direct sun

This variety usually likes a tad-bit more water than other philos. Water as soon as the top layer of soil feels dry
