Begonia Maculata$24
Polka dotted Begonia Maculata
Begonia Maculata, also known as the polka-dot Begonia is a unique beauty. It is a tropical and subtropical flowering plant native to the rainforests of Brazil. Known for its olive green, angel wing shaped leaves, with contrasting silver polka-dots and deep purple under leaf. Polka dot begonias are monoecious, meaning they have both male and female flowers. Their flowers are white to light pink and grow in hanging clusters.
Care
The Begonia Maculata loves bright, indirect light, but can also survive in slighter lower light situations. Do not expose to direct sun-light as leaves will burn. Allow soil to dry out a bit between waterings. These plants prefer warm temperatures and higher humidity so misting in between waterings is helpful.
What's included
- Plant
- 6" hand-painted terracotta pot & saucer (if ordered)
- Dehydrated soil wafer is included with the pot
- Plant care and repotting instruction cards
This plant is not safe for pets.
