Peperomia // Clusiifolia
Commonly known as: pink edge, ginny pink, jelly, Peperomia tricolor
The pink edge is a newer variety of Peperomia, and is known for its pink hue on the beautifully variegated leaves. Just like other Peperomia, this colorful plant is easy to care for and with enough light they'll sprout flower spikes.
Peperomias, as the name suggest are from the Pepper family. These plants have semi-succulent properties, which means that they are able to store moisture in their fleshy stems or leaves to fall back on when needed. These are ‘easy to care’ for plants with an extensive variety. They can also easily be propagated just from a leaf cutting.
Light
They prefer bright light but not direct sun. They can also do well under florescent lights.Water
Over-watering is the main cause of serious problems with Peperomia. Avoid the leaves when watering these plants.Care level
