Hemigraphis Repanda, commonly known as Dragon’s Tongue, belongs to the Acanthaceae family and is native to Malaysia and India. The first half of the scientific name “Hemigraphis” is a Greek word – hemi means “half” and graphis means a “stylus or paintbrush”. They would thrive when grown emersed in a high humidity environment such as terrariums or paludariums.
Care and Maintenance
Keep soil on the moister side. It's not particularly drought tolerant, so don't let it wilt or dry out. It can handle low, medium, or bright light.
